2010 was a season of ups and downs. Among the highs: the excitement of the River City children as they accepted their instruments in THE MUSIC MAN, wonderful comedy and real rain on stage in SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, triumphant “one night only” performance of the six guys in THE FULL MONTY, and still controversial and very theatrical HAIR, all filled with music, laughter, love and a powerful moment or two. Not to mention some pretty spectacular sets, lights and costumes. On the down side, we experienced the same sorts of difficulties arts organizations everywhere are suffering. We tightened our belts and reduced costs, but the sluggish economy kept many theatergoers at home, so attendance was down. Donations were down. So were Season Pass sales.

But we won’t give up! We feel that live professional theatre has an important place in Mt. Washington Valley and hope you agree. We’re excited to share plans for 2011 and need your help now to make it happen.
